Applying means handing over your license, your ID, and your work. This page says plainly what we hold, why we hold it, and what we will never keep.
When you apply, you give us the following.
We do not store your Social Security number, your date of birth beyond age eligibility, or your bank credentials. Payout details are held by our payments processor, not by Mair.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other specialists. We do not use your application to market anything unrelated to Mair.
Inside Mair, only the reviewers who need it. Outside Mair, only the services that make the House run: our hosting and database provider, our email and text providers, our payments processor, and the relevant state licensing board. Each is bound to use it only for that purpose. We will also disclose information where the law requires it.
Your ID, license, insurance certificate, and W-9 live in private storage. They are not public, not indexed, and not reachable by a link. Reviewers open them through short-lived signed links that expire. Your portfolio photos are the exception, they become public on your profile once you are approved and published.
Approved specialists: for as long as you are in the House, and then for as long as tax and licensing rules require. Declined applications: up to 24 months, so we can recognize you if you apply again, and so we hold a record of the decision. Ask us to delete sooner and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Write to recruitment@mairbeauty.com and we will act within 30 days.
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Documents sit in private buckets with row-level access rules, so a record is only readable by the applicant it belongs to and by an authorised reviewer. Admin actions on a profile are recorded in an internal audit log. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects you.
Mair is for licensed professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We will update this page as Mair grows, and the date at the top will always reflect the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell you directly.
